Optimization does help only for contents, keywords, articles etc but not for images..How do i make my images from my website appear on the search engine’s search viewable

    Hi

To appear in google images you need to use google webmaster tools. There is an option:

    Enhanced image search

Enable Google’s enhanced search for images on your site, including advanced labeling techniques for images hosted by Google.

Also make sure to name your images base on your keyphrases…

    Good Luck

Search Engine Optimization applies to both how you design and tweak your site, but also much more than that, including your pictures. Such as assign title tags and alt tags to the images to they have a name they can be optimize for. Getting strong linkbacks to your site to increase your overall ranking to indirectly effect your images. These are just a couple examples. And they take time. Slowly but surely, the SE bots will find their way there.

There’s actually a very simple way to get pictures of your site in the search engines.
Sign up with digg.com, click "Submit new" put up a title and a keyword rich description, and digg will search your site for images and let you choose which one to use.
After 24 to 48 hours if you have chosen the right keywords and a good description your search engine ranking should be a lot better, perhaps you’ll even be on the first page.

Image optimization is the same as website optimization, you need to do the following:
      - Add a good name with your keywords separated by (-)
      - Link your images to other related topic of the image
      - Digg and sphinn your articles
      - add your images to flickr
      - have captions and title description and link title attribute with your major keywords – note not to spam, and use them as you are dealing with search engine as a human.
      - Add the image with full path in different pages, preferable they link to each other.

      1) Keyword in ALT tag.
      2) Keyword in same table cell as the picture.
      3) Keyword below or above image in DIV
      4) Keyword in image name and image meta data.
      5) Keyword in same <p></p> as image.
      6) Keyword is in the niche you want.
      7) Picture looks great.
